In the US there are different laws for fax transmissions and fraudelent stuff sent over a fax is mucht more easily prosecuted in the US. Fax transmissions are not subject to spam as this is illegal in the US over fax lines. From B&H point of view it is better for them even though from the consumers over seas point of view it is more risky to send an unencrypted fax.
