Shoot RAW, Maggie. Adobe Camera Raw is wondrous. Forget the Nikon software and move up to PS CS. Emily You don't know how pissed comments like that make Nikon feel. Before long they will be encrypting thier raw files to stop you doing it yourself ... or at least selling licences to an SDK so that they can profit still further from people who find thier own crappy software crappy.
