Hi list! I received a Watson 100 bulk film loader yesterday, that came with no instruction manual but at unused condition, but by playing around with it and after downloading the patent file, and partly reading it, I figured out the in and outs, except these things 1. The crank has a lot of sideways room for movement. Granted it is helpful to get the magazine off, but if pulled too much out will miss the spool...is this common? (though turning it again the crank will catch up 2. the locking lever...hmm...with the cover everywhere in between its end p[ositions will pop teh gate open...not fully, but just enough. And i do not believe it helps to lock the gear stopping film advance, is it? 3. how safe are the two interconnecting surfaces of the body and cover, that lock the film in between? I believe that they touch a part of film that will be exposed to light anyway 4.
