My second year as the school's photography teacher is coming to a close and I feel a need to spruce up the curriculum a little.  The class I teach is a black and white manual photography class with darkroom as well.  Having never taken a photography class in my life, I find myself at my ceiling with respect to creative ideas for teaching photography.  I'm wondering, from all you tecahers out there, if you have any lessons or resources you'd be willing to share along the following lines:

1.  activities that received good student response
2.  unique project ideas (that help them develop basic technical concepts)
      -  visual exercises
      -  planning techniques
      -  self _expression_ triggers
      -  etc..
3.  photography educators resources from the internet (i have used heavily from scphoto.com)
4.  strategies or materials that have produced good results

...or anything else you can think of

please feel free to contact me off list, or perhaps ohers could benefit as well.

Cheers...Trevor Cunningham
