I would have thought that there'd be a ton of used digital cameras with everyone upgrading. Not so here in Japan. I guess since everyone paid so much such a short time ago, they're hanging onto them and giving them to the kids or keep as backup. Yahoo auctions here has a few used ones but not many, and they want too much for them. Mostly the auctions are selling new models. I might wait until I get to Canada and strange as it seems, buy one and ship it back to Japan. Or we just might buy a new one. The dream of a decent camera under $100 just isn't going to happen. I saw a few old Canon G2s that were going for around $300 used. So that sort of tells you the used market here.
