A pyramid so what?
Seriously, what is it that is different about this
pyramid?

You do have a wonderful point...it is just a pyramid.

It's shown in very high contrast - the dark side of
the pyramid is
only a tad off being pure BLACK.

intended

The sky: heavily polarised or a red filter?

Konica 750 IR film with IR filter

I keep looking at it - while it's a perfectly
acceptable / competent

(thank you kindly)

shot of the pyramid, it's not really exciting me

I do have to agree, I find the pyramids little more
than an impressive pile of rocks...what makes it for
me is the sky...i simply cannot get over what IR film
does to the sky...the challenge here is there is very
little vegetation and shooting in IR becomes a bit
more of a compositional challenge...i was at giza and
the sun was just right to give me exactly the contrast
i wanted... thanks for the review
