Peeter Vissak Candle upside down? Strange.
Peeter Vissak -
Might be a bit more interesting if there were something more in the white area but I like the graphic aspects. Would be nice to have a hint of what's going on there, however.
abstract and beautiful... I visited your website and especially liked the "leigo_kontsert" gallery.Peeter Vissak -
Do you intend to provide English texts as well?
Yes! It is a candle upside down. It was quite nice in the normal position (at least some similar shots of it), but as it looked very much like Italy (without Sicilia), I decided to dedicate it to the Mother-in law of one of our listmates -- Ms. Loren.
About Leigo concert -- Leigo is a man-made lake in Southern Estonia where concerts take place. Both classic and rock ones. Late in the evening they lit candles and these will drift on the water. XXXXXXXtremely nice and pictoresque!
The construction is built on the island in the middle. Alltogether very nice and the concerts are also very-very good.
But You have to leave a bit earlier, otherwise You will be stucked into the traffic jam for several hours.
NB! "Virtsu torm" is a page about the Hurricane Erwin that hit the Baltic Sea 9th/10th of January with the strength of 36 m/s and water level that raised about 2,2 - 2,5 metres above the average level, lots of coastal cities were submerged, as well as the small harbour village Virtsu where I live. Thank God my house is about 5,75 m a.s.l.
Those pictures do not give perhaps the message to strangers, but if You look at the half-submerged road on a dam, then find the Pass-the-Camera gallery and look at my picture. It is the same dam, btw!
By now municipalities have declared their losses and the sea level has decreased about 1 m.
Regards,
Peeter
