Just a thought - do you, as photographers, refer to yourselves as artists?
Think about yourselves as artists? Do not feel you are artists?

Of course I think of myself as an artist.

All my life, and in the woumb, I have been sensitized to the understanding
that 'fine art' is of the 'fine' mediums, that is the early basic expression
of capturing space in time. The medium that has been refined over time, yet
not changed. I.E. painting is with a brush, but materials and techniques
have progressed; sculpture is a refined medium, drawing, print making.

The pain of not expressing ourselves becomes surpassed by the pain of
expression, and what we do to stop the moment in life is art.
