In an attempt to avoid picking nits when commenting on the gallery I'll be brief. As a set of images his weeks gallery is, frankly, rubbish. Highlights are the images by Jimmy Harris: a well-executed and presented abstract of a set of railway lines. Nice touch/feature is the rusty nail breaking up the otherwise predictable pattern. Another fun image is John's recycling of his previous week's self portrait - an insight into the author's environment - a warning not to store cups of coffee above computers too ;o) I wish I could read the notice and the titles of the books (OK, I have "Places"). Note, not a nit just interest. Jim's Grebe: by any other list contributor would get some praise but it's not IMO up to Jim's normal high standards. Other than that - I can see why only one member has taken the trouble to comment at all. Thanks Chris.
