Gallery Review for 2004-07-10

In an attempt to avoid picking nits when commenting on the gallery I'll be brief.
As a set of images his weeks gallery is, frankly, rubbish.

Highlights are the images by Jimmy Harris: a well-executed and presented abstract of a set of railway lines. Nice touch/feature is the rusty nail breaking up the otherwise predictable pattern.  

Another fun image is John's recycling of his previous week's self portrait - an insight into the author's environment - a warning not to store cups of coffee above computers too ;o)

I wish I could read the notice and the titles of the books (OK, I have "Places").  Note, not a nit just interest.

Jim's Grebe: by any other list contributor would get some praise but it's not IMO up to Jim's normal high standards.

Other than that - I can see why only one member has taken the trouble to comment at all.  Thanks Chris.
