Colin Myers has sent me the following
e mail about densitometers which are an essential tool for those
making platinum and salt and other print out photographic processes.
I understand that these densitometers
are a pretty go0od bargain to anyone who does not have to incur hefty
carriage charges

Hello Terry,
We have met on the occasion of your R.P.S.
historical group outing at Norwich earlier this year. I took part with Saffron
Branfoot and you very kindly ferried us from Norwich to the University and then
back to the new Library.
Any way - Densitometers. I have recently
acquired a large batch of X-Rite model 810,
transmission/reflection densitometers. These are in
nice clean working condition with new power lead, photo copy of operators manual
and transmission step wedge for calibration.
I am selling them at £100 each to "friends and
relations" which I feel is a pretty keen price. I am sure you will have one
but perhaps some of your students may be looking for something similar. I would
be most grateful if you could put the word about. My telephone number, should
anyone wish to call to discuss it further, is +44(0)1206 303629, fax +44(0)1206
303629 and 01206 306533.
