Dave,

Fantasy or not, the station mentioned was K.T.V.U., not K.U.T.V. (watch out for those letter transpositions).  KTVU is in Oakland, California, and is now a Fox Network station, therefore is a Rupert Murdock station.

I, too, wonder how the settlement jumped from 80,000 to 8 million to 80 million (in the same paragraph, even), how how this didn't make much of a ripple in the news media.
