I thought that I would do a full review this week, then there were all those bird pix. The problem for me is that I don't know what to say about photos of birds and mountains, This week's bird photos look great to me, but I don't really know anything about birds or bird photos. However, they all have a feel of motion and that's pretty cool to me.

So on the other images...

Leslie's photo really packs in a lot, it appeals to me as someone who photographs people on the street. The face really seems to pull the viewer in. Nicely done. Greg's photo has an animal in it that's not eaten or at least prepared to be eaten, that's sort of there with the birds, but the light is great. Take the cat out and I'm there. I'd really like to like Shawna's photo, but it seems a bit too precious. Shawna's political stuff (website) does more for me. John's photo seems too bland, I get the point, it does that well, but it seems to fall flat. I love minimal photos, Per's works in that context, but it's a bit too natural for me. Shyrell's wacky self-portrait is almost post-modern, but yeah, the execution falls a bit short. I'd agree with Rand, it looks like the colors are all bungled up due to not enough of them. Trevor's shot, well it's just not clear what's going on, something needs to explain it better. The bear is cute but not cute enough.

I guess that's enough, I don't think anyone will complain about me not reviewing after reading this mess. And thanks to Rand for doing a much better job than I ever will.
