I wonder if having my butt look like my face would be considered a defensive mech or open up a new profession for me with a circus perhaps or in politics?

Note that the coloring is very similar at both ends. Odd... Is this some sort defensive marking so that when feeding, as it is in this image, it appears to be alert and facing any potential attacker?

I believe this is so, as well as the added advantage that if another critter does take a bite, it gets a mouthful of butterfly butt ;-)
