The one glaring security hole for most OS X installations used to be the possibility to reboot in Classic OS, giving unrestricted access to every single file on the machine (very convenient for some cleanup tasks), but this could, of course, only be done through physical access to the machine. Newer Macs cannot be booted in pre OS X systems.

the popularity of cruising the streets looking for open wifi relays is on
the rise and this sort of exploit could lead to major headaches in the
future if someone routes in on someone's wireless network.
