The correct answer is, and always will be, 'That's the way I intended it.' If pressed further, you say 'It add' followed by either 'allegorical', 'metaphorical' or 'subliminal', then either 'tension' or 'harmony'. In this case I would use 'That's the way I intended it. It add subliminal tension'. If that doesn't work, mix up the words and try again while getting out your lighter.
