The PhotoForum members' gallery/exhibit space was updated 01 Nov. 03. Authors with work now on display at http://www.rit.edu/~andpph/gallery.html include:
David Small - Columbus day
Would have been nice to have some light in the eyes.... The face exudes no attitude about the situation. I keep looking for an answer to "why?" Can't find it in the picture.
John Warner - Eastbourne Pier
Sunsets just never perform for us when we happen upon them, hey? I'm learning to resist taking these unless the sky is really performing. Getting the horizon down below the decking of the pier would have given us an interesting silhouette, however, and positioned the building in the blandest section of the sky. Might have been more interesting to me that way.
Shawna Hanel - Stego
Shawna, I think the photo would benefit from turning the lights down maybe 2/3 stop. Those legs are reaaaly bright!
Leslie Spurlock - The Egg
Not sure what you meant by having the egg off center. anything?
Dan Mitchell - Harbor
Interesting harbor. Looks more like a channel to me. Hard to make a really exciting photograph at the bland time of the day. Maybe getting closer to the water and finding a reflection would have done it...
Achal Pashine - Saniya
Put something less close to Zone 8 on the kid's body and the photo will be more successful to me. The bright shirt totally steals the attention from the face, for me.
