Hello all, My photo of the week goes indisputably to Emily's water-Lilies. AMAZING. looks like water color painting to me on my screen!! Few years ago, Kostas Papakotas (where is he and his clenched teeth now??) has posted images of two blurred bright colored umbrellas, This photo reminded me of that. Water coloresque image. GREAT!! Every photo on the gallery is nice (probably except mine with Saniya' blown out white dress). I like Don Meyer's photo, but it is too blur, I would have loved to see just one person somewhere nicely places rather than bunch of people doing something that really does take away the central theme of color and squares. I would have cut pepsi sign in half, so that one can imagine but not see wholly, or would have left it fully. The way it is right now is neither here nor there. Telephoto on tripod would have helped stabilize the shot. John Warner's sunset photo is good bunch lacks two things for me, saturated colors and well defined silhouette. Birds do not help much either. Had they been closer and well defined, they would have enhanced the shot. On my screen, I can not see the eyes well in Columbus day shot. May be its just my screen (at work, which is not calibrated properly, I will try to see it again from my home computer) I will complete the review later..... thanks, Achal ----- Original Message ----- From: "ADavidhazy" <andpph@ritvax.rit.edu> To: "List for Photo/Imaging Educators - Professionals - Students" <photoforum@listserver.isc.rit.edu> Cc: <andpph@vmsmail.rit.edu> Sent: Saturday, November 01, 2003 10:56 AM Subject: PF Galleries on 11/1/03 > The PhotoForum members' gallery/exhibit space was updated 01 Nov. 03.
