Hi Gang........... A funny one happened the other day................ Recently I have been using an Olympus E 10 Digital Camera and I have been using Sam's Club to print some of the photos I sell to my customers. (gasp.....) (I do mostly theatrical photos and since often these are displayed in direct sunlight for weeks at a time I have to have them on real paper...not ink jet prints) I had dropped off a few files to be printed. When I returned and looked at the prints I asked the clerk to reprint two of them. He was more than happy to do this. At this point a woman came up to the counter with two different bulk packages of Kodak film. She asked the clerk what was the difference between them. It was obvious that he had no idea. I should mention that the folks at Sam's Club are starting to recognize me and also my studio logo is always on the CD's I drop off. He turned to me and asked............. "Do you mind explaining the difference in these films to his lady while I do your reprints?" I glanced at the film packs and told her what the differences were and what I would use for the type of shooting she had told me she was doing. She thanked me and wander off. A few minutes later the clerk came over with my reprints and asked me, "Would you mind telling me what you told her so the next time I am asked that question I will have an answer." That put a smile on my face...................... It was good to see that he wanted to know what the difference was also!!! Russ R.E. Baker Photography rebphoto@pronetisp.net
