We don't know what the author calls aggressive, except she asked some questions. I didn't read about any threats the woman made. I don't think she hit him. Now if she did, that's a different story, but I wouldn't try and make my tape recording stick in court. It's problably against the law to tape her in the first place without her knowledge.
