Gregory, Thanks for the gallery feedback. I appreciate your thoughts. The lake is indeed very clear. In one area I could see the hint of old logs on the bottom. I had to center the subject for the basic reason of bushes and trees on either side of me on the trail and down to the waters edge. I had all I can do to keep the image simple, my intent. In the slide there is slightly more detail in the leaf pedals on the suface of the water, but my scanner or my abilities to scan seem to be lacking. I did try to isolate the leaves in Photoshop and then work the levels, but I couldn't make the leaves give up any more detail from the scan. I agree though, more detail would have been nice.
