Time for another round of comments: Marilyn Dalrymple (Nimbus) - Nicely captured kitten photo. A bit blue/magenta, but nice tonal range and pose. Jim Davis (Stalking the Shore) - Because of the gallery size restrictions I cropped it. I shouldn't have. Full frame image here with reflection: http://www.kjsl.com/~jbdavis/galleries/new_stuff/new_stuff.html Greg Fraser - you got lovely complimentary colours here, but I find the peep hole a bit too small to see anything without straining. I think you should have crawled in a bit further. It's got a nice abstract flavour though, without anything even in the hole. Jeff McSweeney (Broken Frames) - I love nudes, but would like softer flesh tones. I guess it's a kind of balance of broken glass and skin. I like the composition and framing, but would rather have seen a larger image. Nicely done, just not my idea of a nude. Pablo Coronel (Self-Portrait) - Is it a bell, a light housing, I don't know but it's cropped a bit too tight I think. It doesn't have enough interest for me either, sorry. Dan Mitchell (Self) - Well, it's kind of interesting looking at the reflections but I don't feel it's a great image. It needs more interesting subjects on the other side of the street to work. Kostas Papakotas (cd cover) - You've done a nice job matching up the photos considering what you got. Nicely arranged, with an old tyme feeling. David Small (Not A Movie Set) - Nice image, well arranged people and framing. Not much else to say really, way to go! Gregory david Stempel (Tacoma Narrows Bridge No. 2a) - I feel this image is a bit too dark. I'd love to see some detail of the bridge. D.L. Shipman - I love the background here, and the flower, well, it's wild. I'm just a bit unsure what the dark object is at the bottom. Perhaps it should be either removed or more clear. It might be leaves but doesn't add to the composition. Christopher Strevens, LRPS (Watling Street) - Maybe the title should be Watling Street Balcony. Seeing as how the balcony is empty and uninteresting, you should try this great effect on more images. Also the vertical lines are curved on left and a bit tilting on the right to be picky. Overall a nice effect, just needs a little something extra in the image. Pini Vollach (Whites & Reds) - This looks about 2 stops underexposed. Extreme contrast lighting like this is difficult, fill flash was needed. Sometimes you just have to let the highlights go and balance the image for the important midtones. I'd also like to see more of what this is. Without the info, it looks like a table with a feast of cakes and whipped cream. thanks to all reviewers and submitters this week Jim Davis Nature Photography http://www.kjsl.com/~jbdavis/
