Currently using my (very) used Mamiya C-33 with 135mm and 180mm lenses. I like the TLR 1)no mirror "flop" to startle the subject, 2)continuous viewing makes it easier to catch blinks and funny facial expressions at the decisive moment. It's a pretty old fashioned choice but I've also used M645, RB-67, various Hasselblads, Kowas and Bronicas as well as Rapid Omega and Graflex XLRF and still prefer the TLR, and Mamiya TLR's had interchangable lenses. The "RF" cameras also work well but are my second choice. darkroommike ---------- ----- Original Message ----- From: <shyrell_lynn@juno.com> To: "List for Photo/Imaging Educators - Professionals - Students" <photoforum@listserver.isc.rit.edu> Sent: Friday, June 20, 2003 11:30 AM Subject: Favorite Portrait Camera > Needing some input... > > What is your (list members) favorite indoor portrait camera, why, and how > much would you pay? > I'm collecting this info now so I'll have it for when I'm ready to buy > one. > Thanks ahead of time! : - ) > > Shyrell Melara Photography > Jonesville, NC, USA > http://yadtel.net/~jmelara/ >
