Well, some interesting stuff this week, he goes my thoughts: Emily L. Ferguson Rattlesnake grass Hey it looks like some alien cocoons or something :-) Nicely composed, looks a bit too contrasty. Jeff Spirer Laundry I like this. Interesting angle give us a nice depth. Colours are great. This image managed to be more than it really is. Pini Vollach Laundry Wow, sorry Jeff, this one is even better. I love the whacky colours and angles. I love the soft contrast and the way you've capture such a wide range of brightness. Bill Ellis Windmill Perhaps the horion here is a hill but it just looks tilted. Nice idea but a tough one to pull off. Windmill looks upright. Just a tad magenta/purple. I think if the fence wasn't there, and the top was cropped to pano format it'd be nice. Will Coveleskie Daniel It's sad really when a photograph of a person does not show eyes or face. I mean it's just a lump of flesh. This photo would work if the guy was looking right into the camera. Jose Luis Vasconcellos My wife pregnant, high key. Well, it's cool the way all that white blends into the background of the page. Another too shy to show her face model. I guess I prefer beauty and pregnacy should be beautiful. This one fails. Marilyn Dalrymple Buster Riley Over exposed, and, well, it's a dog photo. I prefer my dog photos in action, in natural settings, in natural poses. Dan Mitchell The Flag Well, it's not doing much for me. It's not a bad photo. I guess I'm just a bit of a flag hater. Bob Talbot Perspective Bob, this is interesting. I like the poses and positioning and the whole idea is great. Inspirational to try something different myself. Thanks for sharing. Christopher Strevens AAAH Uhuh. Sometimes, I too, wish some alien craft would come and cut down the population of earth to a comfortable level. Gustaf L Bjerne What my eyes saw What a shame the head's cutoff. And it's cropped tight to the sides too so likely it was shot offcentre. Damn fine portrait though, even with the flaws. Looks a bit magenta. Well, the Laundry photos and Bob's perspective made this week's worth reviewing. And that's the way I see it. By the way Emily, my ducks are tack sharp and colours are as I saw them in nature. I wish the sky was always blue too. Jim Davis Nature Photography http://www.kjsl.com/~jbdavis/
