Plus, I had to grab this shot while I could. I like the light background and the shiney leaves :-) Would have been nice if the flower was more visible, sure. Again, I had no choice of moving and the angle would have been spoiled even if the shy chicks didn't move. They actually only came together for a moment, enough for one shot. And waterlily flowers start closing up when the sun starts to get low. At this point they were almost closed. Such is shooting in late evening. I'm actually pleased there was a flower at all in the photo, as only a couple had opened at that point in the season. Now a couple weeks later, they are everywhere.
