blue hue on white in photo taken with circ.polar

hi all1 following is a link to a photo taken with a circular polarising filter.
Light came from left and back, and film was Agfa's Ultra 100
Please notice that while the wall is fresh painted white, a blue hue appears both in the film scan and at test prints.

can that be the effect of the polar filter itself? or is it something all together,
