I've had my C82 a couple of months, it does well
with graphics and such and is pretty darn fast even with large photo
files. While not specifically a "photo" printer I feel it does very
well except on very low key black and white pictures with lots of
black--there I can see an objectionable amount of banding.
One more thing it makes a horrible kerchunk noise
when loading a sheet of paper, seems to be perfectly normal for this machine but
it scared the crap out of me the first time it did it.

Subject: epson C82
does anyone have any experience with this printer? i'm
contemplating purchasing it... since it recently dropped in price. i looked at
a sample photo print out, which was only ok.. but looking at the other print
samples, i started to wonder what the quality of the original photo/scan was.
i'll actually only be using it to print out complicated graphics which may
include photo components.. using matte archival paper... but i just wanted
to see if anyone could offer some advice.
