True, and in those days this was the legal way it was done, just as it is today -- when work is done "for hire". The credit and copyright belong to the employer, in this case Brady's studio, who was picking up the tab for what was basically his own news agency. It certainly proved to be the fast-track for many of his photographers, too. --- Luis
