The yellow tone is an interesting consideration. I've come to the
conclusion that most of the general photograph viewing and taking
public connects that warm yellow glow with incandescent light. It's
become part of the way people perceive non-daylight photography.
So I'm not actually trying to eliminate it completely.
However--
the clear little "fairy" (cute way to express it) lights are just far
enough off from the correction factor with either Kodak or Fuji 64
ISO tungsten film that the yellow cast appropriates the situation.
I'd like to correct for that difference.
I'll see whether I can even afford to try getting the correction
filter that Qkano suggest. My tenant just called me and told me that
the roof is now leaking on the rental property she occupies. The
roof is nearly 30 years old and the rental income from that house
barely staves off the moment at which I must go get a job to
survive.... I need a new roof like a hole in the head, if you'll
pardon the pun.
