"peer review"--it's an oxymoron folks, and the sooner you realize it the better off you'll be.
To simplify: Do you believe the 1st runner up in the Miss America pageant is really that ecstatic that the other bitch won? The degree to which you either believe or disbelieve this little fib is in direct proportion to the amount of objectivity you endow in others who offer you their personal "peer review".
