Maybe I haven't looked at the gallery so much, but either way, I was amazed at the diversity I saw in the Gallery this week. It even made me write this e-mail, I guess. Made me think mostly about why other people photograph. Most people are usually interested in the means by which we take pictures. Some people are even concerned with what words we use to describe what we do: take, make, snap... Isn't it amazing that all of us photograph, for the most different reasons, the most different subjects (which for us may seem common), but at the end we choose to get together and discuss how we do it, probably the most similar portion of what we do in photography? I'm not saying this is either bad or wrong, or anything else. Just an observation. Better yet, a question.
