thanks for the info Alan and Christiane, it seems the imageing world is pretty dedicated to the Epson range so I don't suspect I'll be seeing anything for the Canon in the near future - a shame given the quality of the output in colour.. it'd be nice to see similar quality in a black and white image oh well :-) k
