John Mason
Andy and Jeff/Summer Concert: I like the tonal quality of this photograph. Also, the surprise of another musician peeking around the side of his instrument. Roderick Chen
jazz: A dream-like quality. This photograph mesmerizes me when I look at it. It also tells a story. The musician seems to be totally lost in his music. Greg Fraser
Passage: Nice texture, tones and pattern. I liked this a little better when I cropped some from the top. A good photograph, though, and I am always interested in how and what other photographers see. Kostas Papakotas
battle of the beasts: Well framed and composed, but what fascinates me most is - I see a woman on the stack to the left. I looks much like a Degas painting - She is wearing a hat, her head is tilted to the left and she is wearing a white collar, a light-colored stole around her shoulders and a dark dress. jIMMY Harris
Prickly Pear Cactus: I don't think you got too close, jIMMY. The photograph is almost to three D and I feel as though I could touch the plant. Nice detail and texture. Dan Mitchell
Plastic Sea: I like the feeling of stretching to reach the vanishing point in this photograph. The plastic could be mistaken for water. Simple, clean and effective. Jan Faul
Malvern Hill, nr. Richmond: I like the frame-within-a-frame (the one gun between the spokes of another) and the delicacy of the trees in the background. This photograph has a restful - or should I say peaceful - feel to it, even though the guns say otherwise. Alan P. Hayes
Study for Buick-Oldsmobile Reunion: Another great sample of using perspective and a vanishing point. It must have been a fairly complicated task, to piece this together. Very nice work. Emily L. Ferguson: I like
the textures of the rocks, but what has my interest is the small, swirling pool
in the center. For some reason this has a very sensual feel to it. A
very nice photograph.

Wampanaug w/ tourist: This guy looks like a happy camper. The lighting on his face is a little contrasty, but that can't always be helped when you are outside. This photograph tells a story, shows us something we might not ordinarily get to see and is uplifting. Thank you all for sharing your work. I always
enjoy seeing what you are doing. Thank you, Andy and staff, for all your
dedication and hard work.
