Of disk and other critical drivers, sure.

There is, however, a huge variety of horrible drivers for add-on devices from TV-in cards to NERF missile launchers. The one thing common among these drivers is: bugs. Driver bugs can bring down an OS X machine with a pretty kernel panic, just like most other systems, and to Pg there's no difference between a kernel panic caused by the TV-in card and a power failure or crash in core OS components.
