Sorry if this as basic as they come but I am getting an error while trying to set up the pam_afs.so module. When I try to login using a know to be good user for AFS ( i can klog all day with it) I get the following message... setup like this. auth sufficient pam_afs.so use_first_pass ignore_root auth optional pam_unix.so "Authentication service cannot retrieve authentication info." It sounds to me like the module is not talking to AFS correctly but I have no idea why. I am using ldap for authorization via nsswitch.conf i.e. group: files ldap passwd: files ldap and I have verified that this does work. Anyone got any ideas?
