Hey all, I'm just starting to explore the features of PAM and was reading an article on using pam_listfile.so to limit certain users to certain services, which is exactly what I need. However, we've got a new install of Solaris 2.6 and it doesn't have that module. It uses /etc/pam.conf containing: #ident "@(#)pam.conf 1.19 95/11/30 SMI" # # PAM configuration # # Authentication management # login auth required /usr/lib/security/pam_unix.so.1 login auth required /usr/lib/security/pam_dial_auth.so.1 # rlogin auth sufficient /usr/lib/security/pam_rhosts_auth.so.1 rlogin auth required /usr/lib/security/pam_unix.so.1 # dtlogin auth required /usr/lib/security/pam_unix.so.1 # rsh auth required /usr/lib/security/pam_rhosts_auth.so.1 other auth required /usr/lib/security/pam_unix.so.1 # # Account management # login account required /usr/lib/security/pam_unix.so.1 dtlogin account required /usr/lib/security/pam_unix.so.1 # other account required /usr/lib/security/pam_unix.so.1 # # Session management # other session required /usr/lib/security/pam_unix.so.1 # # Password management # other password required /usr/lib/security/pam_unix.so.1 with the contents of /usr/lib/security including: pam_authen.so pam_extern.so pam_sample.so pam_authen.so.1 pam_extern.so.1 pam_sample.so.1 pam_dial_auth.so pam_pwmgt.so pam_session.so pam_dial_auth.so.1 pam_pwmgt.so.1 pam_session.so.1 pam_entry.so pam_rhosts_auth.so pam_unix.so pam_entry.so.1 pam_rhosts_auth.so.1 pam_unix.so.1 So the question is, where can I get that module, and can I just add that in or do I need to install a different (newer) version of PAM? And if anyone knows of some web sites that have a basic intro to PAM I'd be most appreciated. Thanks!
