  What other things are included in this patch?  I notice that all kinds
of Makefile, and config file changes, including moving the config file to
/etc/nntpcache (which I consider surprising, since /usr/local is the
standard place for such things).

  Is it possible to break down the patch and/or include specific
descriptions of what modification is for?

  Are any of the modifications os dependant or specific?
