i know i've asked this before but is there a way to extract the original vmlinux kernel executable from the corresponding vmlinuz file that's installed in /boot? that would require stripping the piggyback header and decompression code and so on, but i was wondering if there's a single utility out there that handles all that. thanks. rday -- ======================================================================== Robert P.
