Kernel mode stack per process?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

Am I right in saying that there is kernel mode stack maintained per process? Also in the book "Understanding the Linux Kernel" in chapter 3: Processes there is a diagram of the stack and the thread_info structure. The addresses shown are 0x015fa000 etc. Shouldn't the addresses start from 0xc0000000? Is that a typo?

Thanks.
