Hi Mr. Mulyadi

Thanks for the info.

But the tools like eu-readelf show different ABI versions for binaries compiled with different gcc versions. How does these versions count?

Also is it possible to run a binary compiled with gcc-3.4 over the environment which has gcc-2.9.6 binaries compiled ( If there's no changes in ABI )

Thanks & Regards
Ashok

Hi Mr.Mulyadi,

The modules are user-space modules

Then I assume that's library (be it static or dynamic shared one)....
and AFAIK it shouldn't matter. Problem comes if you're loading a
kernel module compiled with different gcc version than the kernel
itself.

regards,

Mulyadi.
