I have compiled and installed 2.6.25.6 using Debian Etch latest version.
I can't boot the recompiled kernel, but if I manually load the kernel
using grub it boots, Otherwise (with sata 150) it (grub) tells that it
cannot find any file. I have also been able to boot 2.6.25.6 on one of
my ide-discs.
Does anyone know how to get the new kernel to boot? I have support tried
to build in support for ext2 ant ext3 in the kernel. Is it anything I'm
missing? i kernel or Etch. Do I need some bootparameters?
