probably slightly off-topic, but i figure lots of folks on this list will know about udev. on my FC6 system, the rules file "50-udev.rules" file has a number of rules with the assignment component 'NAME="%k"'. isn't that redundant? i mean, isn't that the default anyway? rday -- ======================================================================== Robert P.
