Hai
I'm using Linux kernel version 2.6.15. I'm running an apllication which will print return value of times( ) system call. In this version of kernel, from man page, this value get incremented in every clock interrupt, from  2^32/HZ -300 (In my case, HZ = 100), since bootup and it should get overflow in 300 seconds. But I could see that in my application this value get started from around 0x6668XXXX , instead of oxFFFF8AD0(approx). Can any one explain this?? Or is there any other function call available in linux to get the value of 'jiffies'.

Thanks in advance..
