Hi Manav, I guess disabling the caches is hardware independant. for my case it's realized by modifying the MSR, at least i guess so:) late this afternoon i found out that i forgot to enable msr support in my kernel configuration (that could be the point...), that's stupid, any way, i will try tomorrow. if there is any possibility to disable it in Linux, please also let me know.
