how to prevent flushing of routing cache in linux FC3

Hi friends,
I have configured an ADSL connection for internet on FC3 for my home PC by using the adsl setup tool. i.e /sbin/adsl-setup. After entering all the DNS severs & IP address, i am able to connect to the internet. But as soon i make an HTTP traffic then my default route gets deleted. Actually what is happening is the routing cache is getting flushed periodically (say once in every 40 secs). Can anyone throw some light on this. During the FC3 installation i have slelcted the firwall to be configured for a stand alone PC ( i.e level 1).
So as a result every 40 secs or so i kept on adding the default route manually by command prompt. But this sucks!! So is there any way by which i can prevent this cache flushing bussiness and make the routing cache entries permanent?
