Hi Pavan,
First create a initrd image using the following command.
mkinitrd /boot/initrd-2.4.21-13.img 2.4.21-13
then in the lilo.conf give 
	initrd=/boot/initrd-2.4.21-13.img
Till my knowledge goes there is no mkinitrd field.
I think you meant the initrd field so i have specified 
the reply according to it.
