Hi, I posted this a few days ago and got no response. Meanwhile, the problem has not gone away. Hopefully someone will nowconsider it. I've installed two kernels on my K6-2 500MHz box, 2.4.28 and 2.6.9. Both options appear at boot in the lilo screen. Only the 2.4 kernel works. The 2.6 kernel resets the pc. "Loading....." is all that appears in the console before the screen goes blank and the unit re-starts. I believe my config is at fault since compilation and installation were OK and lilo seems to know where everything is. In general, what should I be looking for?
