Re: Make a "Hello World" char driver show up in a udev /dev

Strangely enough I had tried that before, and it didn't seem to be
working, so I commented out the code. After you confirmed that that
was the right way to go I uncommented the code I already had there and
it started working. I'm not sure what the problem was before, I'm
running gentoo, and I don't think there have been any udev updates
recently, and I haven't been messing around with it myself. Oh well,
the important thing is that it's working now.
