You could change it but I don't know what the knock on effects will be
OTTOMH - I expect it'll work with any reasonable power of two (barring
the limits we discussed), but the best advice I can give is to try it
and see. I don't see how this benefits you though since whatever
you're running on top of that almost certainly will deal in much
larger block sizes.
