intermodule!

hi,
plz let me know,if i have a shared data structure
say linked list, defined in header file included in
both
module,
one module is updating that data structure and other
module is consuming those,(actually using that),
can this is not possible across two modules,
inter_module_register call is there,
but  ofcourse the memory area craeted dynamically by
one module,how tha second module has access to it?
