linux 2.6.0-test and UML

Hello,

Is there any reason that explains why UML is included in linux 2.6.0 but not
with all stuff? I mean if you want to use UML you need to patch the kernel even
if the new virtual architecture is present... It's not a big problem but I just
find that a little bit curious and I like to know if there is any reasons? I
imagine that for the official release of 2.6.0 UML will be functional...

Another small question about UML, is there an ia64 version?

Thanks
